Zahra Reyhani Monfared studied English Language Translation and Interpreting in Iran and completed her Ph.D. in Translation Studies, specializing in interlingual and intercultural communication between East and West at the University of Hildesheim, Germany. During her Ph.D. studies, she conducted an in-depth exploration of hybridity in language, culture, literature, and translation. This research
Over the course of a decade-long journey, she has served in diverse
capacities in the areas of Translation Studies, Intercultural Communication,
and Multilingual Education for German, English, Persian, and Turkish. Having
lectured in translation studies in Iran, she expanded her academic career by
instructing courses on Persian literature and translation at the University of
Göttingen.
Dr. (Phil.) Reyhani founded Roc Academy for Language, Culture, and Translation in 2024. With the slogan "Road of Competence," Roc Academy provides professional training for employees, employers, job seekers, migrants, and apprentices in a non-university setting.
The academy focuses on language and cultural training, equipping individuals with the skills to excel in the international business market and multilingual environments. With a strong emphasis on intercultural communication between East and West, Roc Academy bridges Eastern and Western business cultures, offering specialized training to help professionals navigate different communication styles, expectations, and work environments.
